At 5 months old in June, the strawberry plants are fruiting and some are almost ripe. This was much to a surprise because the seed packets said they are not too likely to produce much fruit in the first year.
However, having planted a few plants some directly in well, fertilized compost soil, it became apparent once again that a strong nutrient program with hydroponics just accelerated the process of the goal…healthy, productive, well fed plants.
